Mike is a seasoned public affairs professional, political strategist, and graphic designer who has worked on political campaigns, in the halls of government, and with non-profits.

During Mike's 14 years in government and 5+ years working with non-profits, he has lead efforts to secure funding from City and State elected officials in support of youth and community programming, as well as capital improvement projects across the five boroughs.  He's overseen efforts to establish and strengthen community and borough-specific community engagement strategies to optimize health and wellness efforts amongst local residents, organizations, and government and elected officials.

Mike started his career in City government working as a Legislative Financial Analyst, and then running the City Hall legislative office of an NYC Council Member. 

In his free time, Mike works with fellow Staten Island runners to support and fundraise for Staten Island youth and community running by hosting running events, gala dinners and guest speakers.

Mike was named a City & State Staten Island Power 100 recipient in 2019, and named an Unsung Hero by the Staten Island Sports Hall of Fame.  Mike was appointed in 2019 to the Staten Island Museum Board of Directors by Mayor Bill de Blasio, and in 2020 appointed to Community Education Council 31 by Staten Island Borough President James Oddo.

Mike holds a BA from Binghamton University, and a JD from Brooklyn Law School. He lives in Staten Island with his wife and two daughters.  Together, they enjoy beach getaways, bike riding, exploring parks, and playing basketball in “the borough of parks."
